Job Details Location: Udine, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Italy. Company: JR Italy. Client / Employer: OVERTECH Consulting. Site: La Spezia (on-site). Salary: RAL 30 K – 50 K, based on experience. Role Overview You will work on hard and soft real-time software for advanced systems in the Defence and Aerospace domain. Tasks include integration of subsystems, software development for control platforms and onboard systems, and testing on target platforms. You will join structured technical teams and contribute concretely to integration and testing on hardware platforms, development of validation simulators, debugging communication interfaces (Ethernet, serial, protocols), requirements analysis and software validation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams (systems engineers, hardware, test). Responsibilities Integration and testing on hardware platforms Development of simulators for validation and verification Debugging of communication interfaces (Ethernet, serial, protocols) Requirements analysis and software validation Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams (systems engineers, hardware, test) Qualifications We are looking for candidates with the following experience: 2–5 years of development in C/C++ Experience with embedded and/or real-time systems Familiarity with Linux or RTOS Ability to work on integration and debugging Experience with RTOS (Vx Works, Pike OS or similar) Knowledge of protocols (TCP/IP, RS232/422, etc.) Experience in safety‑critical contexts Knowledge of tools such as DOORS / Polarion Familiarity with MISRA standards We evaluate potential as well as experience.
