What you’ll be doing

Role

As an Android Developer in the Consumer Growth team, you’ll play a key role in shaping how new users discover, join, and engage with Satispay, collaborating deeply with backend engineers, product owners, and UX designers to scale our community. Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:

• Create impactful mobile experiences: Develop and implement innovative native Android applications to enhance user engagement, with a specific focus on fluid onboarding flows and activation features.
• Collaborate within a team: Work closely with product managers, UX designers, and backend engineers to integrate and refine features, ensuring cohesive mobile solutions.
• Focus on users: Leverage technical skills to address user pain points and enhance the overall experience. Collaborate with data analysts on A/B tests to maximize user experience and drive growth.
• Drive continuous improvement: Play a key role in the iterative development process, creating new user-centric features like referral programs or campaigns to keep our offerings cutting-edge.
• Ensure excellence: Maintain high standards for coding, performance, and security, contributing to the reliability of our Android applications and ensuring robust client-side authentication.

Who we’re looking for

We need a problem-solver who loves teamwork and gets things done. If you’re curious and ready for real ownership, you’ll fit in! Does this sound like you?

• Relevant educational background: You have a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Android development experience: You have at least 2 years of hands-on experience building and shipping high-quality native applications using Kotlin, Android SDK, and Jetpack Compose. You have a strong grasp of MVI, Coroutines, and Flows.
• Eagerness to grow: You are looking for an environment where you can take on meaningful responsibility while absorbing knowledge from senior engineers.
• Structured communication: You are able to communicate in a structured and convincing manner, building trust positively and professionally with various stakeholders.
• Passion and adaptability: You are passionate about FinTech or startup environments and ready to adapt as we grow.
• Language proficiency: You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
