Data Analyst – European Strategy & Business Intelligence

Are you passionate about data and eager to make a real impact in an international environment?

We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our European Strategy team and help drive data-driven decision-making across Mitsubishi Materials’ operations in Europe.

Although the position is based in Italy, the role has a truly European scope. You will work closely with colleagues, managers, and stakeholders across multiple countries, supporting Business Intelligence initiatives that influence decision-making at every level of the organization.

This is a highly visible role with significant exposure to senior management. You will become a key reference point for data and analytics within the company, helping shape how information is transformed into actionable business insights.

As part of the European Strategy team, you will contribute to the development of analytical solutions used throughout the region and support the company’s ongoing digital transformation journey.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and enhance BI solutions used across Europe.
• Design dashboards and reports that support decision-making from frontline sales teams to senior leadership.
• Maintain and improve existing Tableau dashboards and BI resources.
• Build, maintain, and optimize the underlying data models.
• Ensure the correct operation, reliability and availability of analytical tools.
• Collaborate with international stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver actionable insights.
• And promote a data-driven culture across the organization!

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Mathematics or a related quantitative field.
• Advanced proficiency in Tableau or similar BI tools.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Professional working proficiency in English .
• Experience with Python and/or R is a plus.

Assessment

The selection process consists of:

• Initial screening call.
• Technical assessment to evaluate your Tableau and SQL skills.
• Final round of interviews with members of our European Top Management.
