Retail Marketing Activation Expert

As a Retail Marketing Activation Expert, you connect adidas Concept Stores with city communities to grow brand heat, cultural relevance, and business impact. You will execute and localize seasonal activation plans, run in-store events, and coordinate with influencers, PR, and media to boost consumer perception and store performance. Collaborating with store leadership and cross-functional teams, you’ll deliver innovative activations that are on-brand, timely, and measurable. Your work shapes the in-store consumer journey within a global brand framework.

• Execute seasonal activation programs aligned with brand guidelines and local context
• Develop local activations (windows, VM, in-store comms, events, PR & influencer activations)
• Plan and produce high-quality activations and events within stores, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence
• Collaborate with store leadership to integrate activations into the consumer journey and drive business impact
• Build relationships with local communities, cultural players, and influencers relevant to sport, style, and culture
• Coordinate with Brand, Cultural Marketing, PR, Media, Finance, Legal, and Europe Retail Marketing to align strategies and KPIs
• Partner with external agencies and vendors to co-create activations
• Monitor activation performance, collect insights, and optimize accordingly
• Manage and optimize the activation budget to maximize ROI while complying with processes
• Stay updated on cultural trends, city dynamics, and competitor activity to refresh the activation calendar
• Contribute to locally relevant content and storytelling in line with adidas’ brand voice
• Support cross-functional storytelling and communication assets

• University degree in marketing and business or equivalent experience
• 2-3 years in marketing, communication, retail, or retail marketing
• Proven track record in planning and delivering marketing activations/events
• In-store retail experience is a plus
• Strong connection to local trends and the city culture
• Excellent project and event management skills
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration abilities with internal and external partners
• Knowledge of cross-functional marketing levers (media, PR, influencers)
• Analytical and budget management skills
• Fluent in Italian and English
