Learn more about our benefits. /ph3Role Responsibilities /h3ulliCollaborate with Senior Field Service Engineers (Customer Engineers) in installing, maintaining, and upgrading customer equipment /liliUse digital analytics for troubleshooting /liliApply basic diagnostic techniques to assess equipment and address technical issues, with guidance from Senior Field Service Engineers (Customer Engineers) /liliPerform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical, vacuum, mechanical, plasma, hydraulic, and gas systems (training provided) /liliCoordinate and communicate directly with customers /liliFulfill additional duties, as assigned /li /ulh3Minimum Qualifications /h3ulliCompletion of an Associate degree, military technical training, field service experience, or trade certification /lili1–2 years of work experience in customer/field service support, or a related technical field /liliAbility to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics /liliExperience diagnosing and resolving basic technical challenges /liliBasic mechanical aptitude with pneumatics, hydraulics, electronics, vacuum, or thermodynamics /liliFamiliarity with hand tools and their appropriate usage, including digital multimeters /liliEffective written and verbal communication skills /liliBasic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint /liliPossession of a valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a passport, if travel is required /liliAble to meet all on-site requirements, including safety, environmental guidelines, and COVID-19 protocols /li /ulh3Preferred Qualifications /h3ulli2–4 years of work experience in customer/field service support, or a related technical field /li /ulh3Required Education /h3ulliMinimum of an Associate's Degree /li /ulh3Physical Requirements /h3ulliThis position often requires extensive walking, standing for extended periods of time, working in tight spaces, bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, reaching, climbing stairs and ladders, working at height, lifting up to 35 lbs., the ability to distinguish between colors and working with electricity, the ability to work in an environment with noise that may be difficult for some individuals with sensitivity to noise, and the use of hand and power tools. /liliAdditionally, because this position generally involves working in a clean room, it requires the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment such as coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields. /li /ulh3Additional Information /h3ulliTime Type: Full time /liliEmployee Type: Assignee / Regular /liliTravel: Yes, 20% of the Time /liliRelocation Eligible: Yes /liliThe salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
