Lead engineer - product design and engineering

Lead Engineer, Mechanical, Product Design and Engineering We are an energy technology company that provides solutions to energy and industrial customers worldwide. Responsibilities Establishing technical requirements based on customer functional specifications and project needs in compliance with international codes and standards. Leading and contributing to design development activities such as CAD modelling and documents creation ensuring alignment with requirements and schedule. Working cross functionally with other teams and departments to align interfaces, design, activities, and deliverables. Presenting design outcomes in design reviews when and as relevant. Being accountable for cost‑out activities, budget monitoring and engineering plans progress. Managing engineering suppliers from a technical standpoint, providing guidance and ensuring compliance with applicable technical and contractual requirements. Providing engineering support to program management and other stakeholders. Supporting the sourcing team through procurement, manufacturing and test of designed products. Providing consultancy advice to the project bid team. Qualifications Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Expertise in 3 D CAD modelling. Subsea equipment knowledge and relevant design methodologies (desired). Robust mechanical design background with proven experience in a similar role. Proactive and willing to take ownership and responsibility. Strong oral and written communication skills, fluent in English. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
