Quality Engineer - Product & Supplier

ppItaldesign is looking for a passionate and proactive Quality Engineer to join our Vehicle Development team. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Suppliers to ensure that all components under your responsibility achieve the required quality standards throughout the development and launch of new vehicle programs. /pulliAct as the Quality representative within new vehicle development teams; /liliCollaborate with Engineering teams to ensure that lessons learned and quality requirements are incorporated into component design and validation activities; /liliSupport supplier selection and assess supplier capability to meet product quality requirements; /liliWork closely with Purchasing and Suppliers to develop and implement quality plans for new components. Steering suppliers to respect project milestones and quality requirements; /liliLead and coordinate APQP activities for components under your responsibility; /liliReview and approve PPAP submissions and ensure readiness for production launch; /liliDrive the development and review of DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, and other quality deliverables; /liliMonitor quality performance during prototype, pre-production, and production phases. /liliIdentify quality risks, lead root cause investigations, and drive corrective and preventive actions; /liliSupport production teams during industrialization and launch activities; /liliEnsure compliance with company quality standards, customer requirements, and automotive industry regulations. /li /ulh3Requirements /h3pbKey requirements /b /pulliAt least 3 years’ experience in Quality Engineering within the automotive industry; /liliFamiliarity with IATF 16949 requirements; /liliExperience working with suppliers and cross-functional teams; /liliStrong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills; /liliAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. /li /ulpbPreferential requirements /b /pulliKnowledge of CatiaV5; /liliFlexibility and change management; /liliGood spirit of initiative and decision-making ability; /liliGood organization and time management skills; /liliGood ability to work in a team; /liliCustomer orientation, collaboration, control and monitoring. /li /ulh3Other Informations /h3pbEducation: /b Degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Industrial, Electronic Engineering or a related field. /ppbLanguage skills: /b Fluent knowledge of written and spoken Italian and English are required.
