The role involves configuring and optimizing CDS interventions, predictive models, and AI tools within clinical workflows. The analyst manages the underlying data to track system adoption and alert metrics, utilizing analytics to evaluate how these technologies improve patient care and operational outcomes. /p pParticipates in the analysis, design, testing, documentation, implementation, support and auditing of comprehensive Hospital Information Systems and electronic health records (EHR). Assists in evaluation, analysis, maintenance and development of system functionality to meet clinical objectives including participating in project plan development/tracking and workflow analysis. Coordinates resolution of system process or performance issues interacting with functional users, internal and external technology resources. Performs unit, system and integrated testing tasks /li /ul /li liPrimary liaison between business units, technology and support teams. /li liElicit system requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirement request, business and workflow analysis. Level III analysts will be facilitators and key decision drivers. /li liCritically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high level data into details, abstract up from low level data to general understanding and distinguish user request from underlying true needs. /li liCollaborate with developers, vendors, subject matter experts; to establish technical vision and analyze trade-offs between usability and performance needs. /li liServes as project champion to promote the integration of technology into the clinical setting. /li liWorks with Information System Specialist and subject matter experts to develop tools and resources specific to the application. Level III analysts will be developers and decision makers. /li liPrepares and presents to different groups in an effective manner appropriate for the audience. Level III analysts are primarily presenters /li liParticipates and supports project and team goals, objectives and timelines working with a sense of urgency and accuracy to ensure effective implementation. /li liDocuments needs assessments, processes, system requirements, change management, and user training materials to ensure successful communication to both technical team and the end user. /li liAssists in software selection and evaluates emerging technologies staying abreast of best practices. /li liSuccessfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously. /li liCoordinates system acquisition and implementation of assigned applications, including hardware and software.Level III analysts would coordinate. /li liManages system set up and implementation /li /ul h3Duties Responsibilities /h3 ul liMonitors system performance /li liParticipates in the planning and preparation of go-live implementation as well as updates, patches, and other routine maintenance. Level III analysts plans, participations, implements and communicates; may lead and direct work activities of others. /li liUtilizes technical expertise to strengthen the knowledge and skills of related team members. /li liProvides ongoing user support and training, when applicable, paying keen attention to user needs and opportunities to offer solutions and modify processes to improve patient care and related efficiencies. /li liIdentifies reports and develops report specifications for report writers to meet the needs of the application user. /li liDocuments support calls and ongoing issue management /li liProactively communicates and collaborates with external and internal customers including vendor solution providers. /li liCommunicates with vendors as needed for system performance problems and question. Levels 3s escalates issues to appropriate internal personnel and communicates with vendors. /li liParticipates in short, medium and long range system planning /li liInitiates and/or maintains project plan documentation /li liAttends continuing education courses, seminars and conferences to keep abreast of Information Technology developments /li liParticipates and supports change management process.
