Scheduled to open in late 2026, The Gate consists of a 175-seat freestanding full-service restaurant, pavilion bar, concessions snack bar, 30-bay state-of-the-art practice range with Trackman technology, expansive putting green, and a Jacobsen-Hardy designed 9-hole regulation length golf course. Recognizing the limited availability of public courses in Southwest Florida, The Gate Golf Club is dedicated to making the sport more accessible for families and players of all skill levels. /p pThe HR Coordinator supports the day-to-day functions and responsibilities of the Human Resources department providing administrative and operational assistance to ensure employee support, compliance, and club operations. This role acts as a liaison between staff, management, and external HR vendors, while also assisting with golf club-specific operations. /p pbEssential Functions /b /p ul liPerforms a variety of administrative functions for the Human Resources department: daily recruitment procedures, data entry, file management, employment verifications, reference checks, training class management and preparation of materials, execution of and distribution of weekly, monthly or quarterly reports. /li liAssists with daily updating and processing of employee files in the HRIS/ATS platform including Recruiting, Onboarding, Time Labor, and Benefits. /li liServes as the primary point of contact for employee HR inquiries and benefit-related questions. /li liCoordinates with benefit vendors and administrators to ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations. /li liAssists in organizing training sessions, seminars, and orientation programs /li liProvides feedback and information to management regarding daily HR issues presented by employees. /li liAssists with resolutions of employee issues. /li liResponsible for site HR files maintenance; Maintains digital and electronic HR records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy /li liAssists with training as necessary (onboarding, HR software user training, annual compliance) to support Management. /li liMonitors documents used to evaluate, correct and enhance job performance and other workplace behaviors, assuring overall fairness and consistency, and meeting business requirements. /li liSets interview appointments for hiring department managers, follows up accordingly with additional interviews. /li liPerforms other HR duties as needed, including special projects assigned. /li /ul pThe above statements describe the general nature and level of work being performed in this job. They are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, and indeed additional responsibilities may be assigned, as required, by management. /p h3Requirements /h3 ul liTwo years of previous human resources administrative experience required /li liAssociate's degree in human resources or business administration preferred /li liBilingual English and Spanish speaking skills highly preferred. /li liSHRM-CP certification preferred /li liAbility to maintain the highest degree of confidentiality is essential /li liExperience in the hospitality or golf industry is preferred /li liExcellent customer service and employee relation skills, excellent communication skills, both verbal and written /li liProficient with Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook /li liExperience with HRIS/ATS software; Paylocity platform a plus /li liHave a general understanding of employment laws /li liAbility to work independently in a timely and productive manner /li liFlexibility in a busy atmosphere, managing multiple projects simultaneously /li liAbility to interact with a variety of people and provide excellent customer service /li liHigh attention to detail and accuracy with all work /li liAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships within all levels of the organization /li liHonesty, integrity and strong knowledge of HR principles/ employee relation skills /li liStrong business technical writing skills and excellent communication/people skills /li /ul pbPhysical Demands /b /p pAbility to sit or stand for extended periods of time /p pAbility to communicate clearly /p pCorrected vision to normal range /p pAbility to drive/transport self and others /p pAbility to travel on occasion for meetings /p pAbility to work long hours as required /p pAbility to occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds (for general office use) /p pbWork Environment /b /p pThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
