Project Manager R&D

We are looking for a Project Manager with a software or systems background to join the R&D department in Bologna. The role involves leading cross‑functional and international teams and managing R&D projects from concept to the start of production, ensuring alignment with time, quality, scope, and cost targets in accordance with Toyota processes.Qualifications / Requirements

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electronics, or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in Project Management within software R&D environments
• Experience with software development lifecycle (Agile or hybrid models)
• Project Management certifications (PMP, CSM, PRINCE2) are a plus
• Proficiency in Git and DevOps practices to maintain stable, collaborative and efficient R&D codebases
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project
• Organized, proactive, and structured mindset

Key Responsibilities

• Lead R&D projects
• Coordinate the work of R&D teams (software, electronic, mechanical) with other corporate functions throughout the project development process
• Plan, monitor, and report project activities and milestones
• Ensure alignment with Toyota New Product Development processes
• Support continuous improvement of project management practices
