We are looking for talented Electronic Hardware Development Engineers (up to two) to join our engineering team and contribute to the design, development, validation and troubleshooting of advanced Electronic Control Units (ECUs) for next-generation brake-by-wire systems.brDepending on your experience and qualifications, you will join our organization either as an Electronic Hardware Development Testing Engineer or as an Electronic Hardware Development Expert , working on the full lifecycle of automotive electronic products, from requirements analysis and hardware design through testing, validation, and issue resolution.brThe ideal candidate combines strong electronic design skills with a practical engineering mindset and a passion for developing robust and reliable automotive products.brLocation: Turin, IT We offer Exciting and diversified projects Collegial environment An inside view into innovative technologies of the automotive industry Wide network of research and development parties High degree of autonomy and responsibility Modern leadership culture Smart working environment Promotion of personal development Individual professional education for continuous learning and improvements International working environment and collaboration with advanced high-technology RD teams across different regions Key Responsibilities Analyze and understand customer, system, and hardware requirements for automotive electronic products.brDesign and develop Electronic Control Units (ECUs) for advanced braking and chassis control systems.brCreate and maintain hardware schematics and supporting engineering documentation.brSupport PCB layout activities through design reviews and close collaboration with layout engineers.brSelect and evaluate electronic components according to functional, safety, reliability, EMC, and environmental requirements.brPerform hardware bring-up, debugging, and validation activities.brExecute electrical, functional, environmental, and EMC testing activities.brConduct root cause analysis of hardware, system, manufacturing, and vehicle-related issues.brOperate laboratory instrumentation including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, power supplies, electronic loads, CAN analyzers, and measurement equipment.brSupport or lead Design Verification (DV) and Product Validation (PV) activities.brCollaborate with system, software, mechanical, manufacturing, quality, and test engineering teams.brInterface with suppliers during design reviews, component selection, issue resolution, and technical assessments.brContribute to Functional Safety work products in accordance with ISO 26262.brSupport continuous improvement of hardware design methodologies, validation processes, and engineering best practices.brParticipate in vehicle testing and customer activities with occasional business trips.brRequired Skills Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electronics / Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering, or related disciplines.brExperience in EE hardware development, preferably within the automotive industry.brGood understanding of analog and digital electronic circuit design.brExperience in developing or reviewing electronic schematics and layouts.brHands-on laboratory experience and familiarity with electronic debugging techniques.brExperience using common electronic test equipment and measurement instruments.brKnowledge of automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, UDS, and XCP.brFamiliarity with EMC principles and automotive validation activities.brStrong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.brGood communication and teamwork capabilities.brFluent English.brPreferred Skills Qualifications Experience with automotive ECU development.brExperience with Design Verification (DV), Product Validation (PV), and EMC testing.brKnowledge of ISO 26262 Functional Safety processes.brExperience with PCB layout reviews and design-for-EMC practices.brKnowledge of automotive electrical and electronic architectures.brExperience with embedded systems and microcontroller-based designs.brKnowledge of electric motors, actuators, sensors, and power electronics.brFamiliarity with brake-by-wire, ABS, ESC, electro-hydraulic braking, or other safety-critical automotive systems.brKnowledge of Altium Designer, LTSpice and similar engineering tools.brExperience Level We are hiring for multiple positions within the Electronics Hardware team .brCandidates will be considered for either: Electronic Hardware Development Testing Engineer Typically 1-7 years of relevant experience.brStrong focus on hardware design, laboratory activities, testing, debugging, and issue analysis.brElectronic Hardware Development Expert Typically 7 years of relevant experience. xjncmbx brProven expertise in automotive ECU design, validation, EMC-compliant design, component selection, and complex technical problem solving across the complete product development lifecycle.
