Databricks Expert

Overview

DXC Technology is looking for a Databricks Expert.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data pipelines using Databricks.
• Work with multiple data sources, including structured and unstructured data.
• Integrate Databricks with other tools and services (e.g., Azure, AWS, Tableau and various databases).
• Manage data storage and lifecycle across Databricks workspaces.
• Diagnose and resolve issues within Databricks environments and workflows.
• Maintain clear documentation of data pipelines, processes and workflows for internal use and compliance.

Qualifications

• Professional experience using data analytics solutions based on Databricks.
• Knowledge of at least one of the following data integration services: Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, Google DataPrep.
• Strong foundation in data engineering concepts and proficiency in programming, especially Python and Scala.
• Good understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud).
• Additional qualifications are desirable:
• Databricks certification.

Work Location

Rome (RM) with smart‑working possibility.

Compensation & Benefits

The position offers a gross annual base salary starting from €38.000. Compensation is determined in line with the applicable collective labour agreement (CBA: Contratto Collettivo Nazionale di Lavoro per l’industria metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti) and is based on objective and gender‑neutral criteria, including responsibility, experience and skills.
