Senior Medical Strategy Lead, Clinical Development - Pulmonologist

IQVIA seeks a Senior Medical Strategy Lead with pulmonology expertise to provide strategic medical guidance and subject matter authority throughout the clinical development lifecycle. The role involves independent proposal development, client engagement, and thought leadership across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead strategic clinical development proposals independently and with proposal teams
- Serve as medical director and subject matter expert in client bid defense meetings
- Provide consulting expertise throughout R&D lifecycle and clinical trial duration
- Formulate clinical development plans and lead Center of Excellence strategic direction
- Collaborate across the organization to leverage IQVIA resources for client opportunities
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in clinical development or medical strategy
- At least 5 years in pharmaceutical industry or CRO setting
- MD degree with pulmonology training and board certification
- Senior strategic leadership experience demonstrating pulmonology expertise
- Practical knowledge of R&D processes, project management, and therapeutic execution
- Exceptional business acumen and organizational thought leadership capability
Compensation: €114,800–€195,200 base
