Software Engineer for Training Devices - Aerospace Simulation

TXT E-TECH , a company within the TXT Group , is looking for a Software Engineer to join an innovative European aerospace project focused on the development of flight simulators for fixed-wing aircraft.
The selected individual will become part of a highly specialized team and will contribute to the development, integration, and validation of models and software systems intended for advanced simulation environments. Main Responsibilities- Integrate onboard systems models and flight models within the simulation environment.
- Develop wrappers between source code and simulation platforms.
- Perform integrated software testing, debugging, and bug-fixing activities.
- Manage and trace project requirements.
- Participate in technical meetings and project progress reviews with the customer.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams within the aerospace sector.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Good knowledge of the C programming language.
- Good knowledge of Python.
- Knowledge of MATLAB and Simulink.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
- Knowledge of Git for software configuration management.
- Experience with Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Knowledge of XML interfaces.
- Experience in software integration activities and automated testing development.
- Familiarity with software retargeting activities and related tools (e.g., Understand).
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong problem-solving attitude.
- Flexibility and adaptability in complex technological environments.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

- Annual gross salary ranging from €28,000 to €33,000, depending on experience and skills.
- Employment classification defined during the selection process according to the candidate’s profile and in compliance with the Italian National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL Metalmeccanico).
