Senior Systems & Calibration Engineer

ppYou will join the Calibration team with the objective of ensuring the reliability, quality, and metrological consistency of laboratory instruments and systems.br/Your role will be focused on process development, technical support, and continuous improvement, with a lower level of direct involvement in calibration activities compared to a dedicated technical specialist role. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 h3Instrumentation and Automation /h3 ul liDevelop, implement, and maintain laboratory instrumentation, automated test systems, and test fixtures. /li liSupport the installation, validation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of laboratory systems and infrastructure. /li liIdentify automation opportunities to increase the efficiency, quality, and safety of testing activities. /li liProvide technical support, troubleshooting, and training to internal users. /li liCollaborate with global teams to ensure standardization, scalability, and consistency of laboratory solutions. /li /ul h3Calibration and Metrology /h3 ul liPlan and oversee calibration and maintenance activities for laboratory instrumentation. /li liDefine technical requirements, acceptance criteria, calibration intervals, and measurement uncertainties. /li liReview, approve, and issue calibration certificates in accordance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements. /li liManage and qualify calibration services provided by external partners. /li /ul h3Technical Documentation /h3 ul liPrepare and update procedures, work instructions, manuals, and technical documentation. /li liSupport the development and validation of test methods and calibration procedures. /li liEnsure compliance with quality, safety, accreditation requirements, and company standards. /li /ul h3Laboratory Operations Management /h3 ul liCoordinate laboratory investment projects, managing technical aspects, suppliers, budgets, and timelines. /li liContribute to activity planning and continuous process improvement through Lean methodologies and operational best practices. /li liEnsure compliance with UL Standards of Business Conduct and physical and digital security practices. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor's degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related discipline). /li liProven experience in calibration, metrology, automation, or laboratory instrumentation management. /li liStrong knowledge of measurement instruments, metrology principles, and measurement uncertainty. /li liExperience with automated test systems and equipment used in testing and certification laboratories. /li liStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience applying continuous improvement methodologies (Lean/Six Sigma). /li liExperience in project management and working collaboratively with cross-functional and international teams. /li liAbility to coach and provide technical support to colleagues and stakeholders. /li liExcellent communication skills, customer orientation, and a collaborative team-working approach. /li liAbility to adapt to dynamic environments and make effective decisions, even in complex situations. /li liGood command of the English language, both written and spoken. /li /ul h3What we offer: /h3 pWe understand that remuneration and benefits are important when deciding on your next career move. The annual salary range for this position in Italy is EUR 38,100 - 50,800 gross, determined by numerous factors, including knowledge, skills, and experience. This position also offers an annual bonus of up to 10% of annual salary.
