ph3Overview /h3 pThe Hoxton has officially opened in Florence – the capital of Tuscany and a city famed for its Renaissance masterpieces, stunning architecture, and iconic landmarks. Bursting with culture (and as the birthplace of gelato), Florence felt like the perfect spot to become our second home in Italy. /p pThe Hoxton in Florence will feature 161 beautiful bedrooms of varying sizes, a large ground floor restaurant, bar, lobby, rooftop and courtyard. There is also a basement meeting and events space. /p h3About us /h3 pThe Hoxton is a series of open-house hotels, each in a neighbourhood that we love. Ever since we opened our first hotel in Shoreditch, we’ve never just been about offering a bed for the night. We want to be more than that: proving style doesn’t need to be sacrificed for good value and providing a place where guests can hang out alongside the locals and submerge themselves in the neighbourhood with vibrant, welcoming public spaces. /p h3What you’ll do /h3 ul liRepresent management during the night and be responsible for the smooth running of the hotel. /li liAlways maintain a positive and friendly attitude, even when working to achieve solutions to challenges. /li liDeal with the in-house guests’ accounting and ensure the accuracy of guest billing. /li liOperationally manage the hotel during the night to ensure guests are well cared for. /li liEnsure the accuracy of data in all systems and provide the necessary daily reports for all departments. /li liManage the daily overbooking levels and liaise with all departments to ensure maximum occupancy. /li liEnsure all telephone calls are answered as quickly and efficiently as possible. /li liMaintain observation over guests and guests’ property to ensure security alerts are kept to a minimum. /li liLead your night team by example, keeping them involved and motivated; help them feel empowered and supported, confident in providing top experiences for our guests and comfortable turning to you with questions. /li liSet stretching but realistic objectives for the team to ensure maximum occupancy and 100% guest satisfaction levels. /li liEnsure the integrity of the public areas and back-of-house areas are maintained at all times, with deficiencies corrected immediately. /li liBe responsible for closing of the day and prepare and verify reception reports. /li liCarry out the night audit procedures accurately, report any discrepancies and ensure quick resolution. /li liEnsure the safety of guests overnight whilst they are sleeping. /li /ul h3What we’re looking for /h3 ul liIndividuals who are looking for a place where you can be yourself; no clones here. /li liPassion for hospitality – whether that’s a drink, a meal, an event or a bed for the night. /li liYou’re all about having a positive impact on the people you interact with, leaving them with a memorable experience. /li liYou’re not precious.
