Ensures compliance with quality standards, HSE regulations, and customer requirements. /p pBuilding up good customer relations in trust and collaboration. Understand the customer needs and translate it into the Hydro world, product design and drawings. Building the bridge between customer and fabrication plant. /p h3What You Will Be Doing /h3 ul liEvaluate new customer requests and perform feasibility and capacity assessments /li liLead technical input for offers, including cost evaluation and specifications /li liSupport product and profile design, engineering changes, and technical problem-solving /li liManage technical documentation (drawings, 3D data, specifications) and ensure data accuracy /li liCollaborate closely with Sales, Project Management, Controlling, and Operations /li liBuild strong relationships with customers and participate in technical discussions /li liContribute to pricing tools, cost optimization, and value-engineering initiatives /li liEnsure compliance with quality standards, HSE regulations, and customer requirements /li /ul h3What Will Make You Successful /h3 ul liDegree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or similar (Master’s preferred) /li liExperience in aluminium extrusion and/or product development (ideally in a project-driven environment) /li liStrong understanding of structural mechanics and aluminium design principles /li liFamiliarity with rail standards and product lifecycle processes /li liCAD/CAM knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes (extrusion, machining, welding, bending) /li liExcellent problem-solving mindset and ability to manage multiple priorities /li liProactive, independent working style with strong collaboration skills /li liFluent English (additional languages like German/French are a plus) /li /ul h3What We Offer /h3 ul liA key role in innovative, international rail projects /li liCollaboration across a diverse European network of experts /li liOpportunities to influence product development from concept to realization /li liA dynamic environment with high autonomy and real ownership /li liFlexible working across multiple European locations /li liTravel opportunities and exposure to customer-facing activities /li liA strong focus on safety, quality, and professional development /li /ul h3Equal opportunities /h3 pAt Hydro, we believe diversity makes us stronger.
