Key Responsibilities Of The Role

• Preparing and assigning work schedules to the mechanical team and subcontractors
• Plan and schedule daily work.
• Supervising and motivating team members
• Ensuring proper handling of mechanical materials and equipment during the installation stages
• Maintaining safety standards and adhering to mechanical codes and permits to work.
• Supervision of the installing all the mechanical equipment that will install in the site, like chillers, AHU, pumps or any other mechanical systems
• Experience with HVAC, cooling system, firefighting, plumbing
• Experience with Data Centre redundancy connection
• Control and keep track of scope changes, engineering changes and any other changes, non-conformities and technical queries
• Reviewing work procedures, method statement and suggesting improvement measures
• Coordinate with the different contractors the execution of the works, interferences and daily follow-up.
• Hiring, training, and evaluating performances of new employees.
• Coordinating with on-site personnel from the different departments (civil, electrical) to ensure proper workflow and avoid clashes
• Supervising on-site mechanical operations and reporting any major issues to the senior management
• Coordinating with the on-site Mechanical Engineer/Mechanical Lead to review any design requirements

Essential Criteria For The Role

• Degree Mechanical Engineer or Industrial Engineer experience is required.
• 10+ years’ experience in similar role
• Data Centre previous experience required
• Excellent organisational andplanning skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Excellent negotiation, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Proficient in use of systems software related to Engineering functions
• Excellent IT skills
• Ability to manage workload and prioritise
• Excellent communication skills in both Spanish and English
• Ability to work on own initiative

Principali Responsabilità Del Ruolo

• Preparazione e assegnazione dei programmi di lavoro al team meccanico e ai subappaltatori
• Pianifica e organizza il lavoro giornaliero.
• Supervisionare e motivare i membri del team
• Garantire una corretta gestione dei materiali e delle attrezzature meccaniche durante le fasi di installazione
• Mantenere gli standard di sicurezza e rispettare le normative meccaniche e i permessi di lavoro.
• Supervisione dell'installazione di tutte le apparecchiature meccaniche che verranno installate nel sito, come refrigeratori, unità di trattamento aria, pompe o qualsiasi altro sistema meccanico
• Esperienza con impianti di riscaldamento, ventilazione e condizionamento (HVAC), sistemi di raffreddamento, antincendio e idraulica
• Esperienza con la connessione di ridondanza del data center
• Controllare e tenere traccia delle modifiche all'ambito del progetto, delle modifiche ingegneristiche e di qualsiasi altra modifica, non conformità e quesiti tecnici
• Revisione delle procedure di lavoro, delle metodologie operative e suggerimento di misure di miglioramento
• Coordinare con i diversi appaltatori l'esecuzione dei lavori, la gestione di eventuali interferenze e il monitoraggio quotidiano.
• Assunzione, formazione e valutazione delle prestazioni dei nuovi dipendenti.
• Coordinamento con il personale in loco dei diversi reparti (civile, elettrico) per garantire un flusso di lavoro adeguato ed evitare conflitti
• Supervisionare le operazioni meccaniche in loco e segnalare eventuali problemi rilevanti alla direzione
• Collaborare con l'ingegnere meccanico/responsabile meccanico in loco per esaminare eventuali requisiti di progettazione

Requisiti Essenziali Per Il Ruolo

• È richiesta una laurea in Ingegneria Meccanica o Ingegneria Industriale e relativa esperienza.
• Oltre 10 anni di esperienza in un ruolo simile
• È richiesta precedente esperienza in un data center
• Eccellenti capacità organizzative e di pianificazione
• Capacità di lavorare in squadra
• Eccellenti capacità di negoziazione, risoluzione dei problemi e processo decisionale
• Competenza nell'utilizzo di software di sistema relativi alle funzioni di ingegneria
• Eccellenti competenze informatiche
• Capacità di gestire il carico di lavoro e stabilire le priorità
• Ottime capacità comunicative sia in spagnolo che in inglese
• Capacità di lavorare in autonomia
