Mechanical Quality Laboratory Specialist

As a Mechanical Quality Laboratory Specialist, you ensure products meet strict quality and reliability standards through rigorous testing and precise measurements. You will lead instrument calibration, carry out mechanical and durability tests, and support R&D with validated test methods. You help drive root‑cause investigations and manage non‑conforming parts to safeguard product performance. • Manage and calibrate laboratory instrumentation (CMM, dynamometers, climatic chambers)
• Perform dimensional, mechanical, performance, and durability tests per control plans
• Develop and validate new test methodologies for R&D and new product introductions
• Analyze test results and prepare technical reports with traceability
• Provide analytical support to Quality Engineers during root cause investigations
• Isolate, characterize, and manage non‑conforming products during testing

• Proven background in a Quality Laboratory within a structured manufacturing environment
• Excellent metrology knowledge and proficiency with advanced measurement instruments (CMM, LaserScan, calipers)
• Ability to read/interpret technical drawings, including GD&T
• Hands‑on experience with mechanical testing (tensile, hardness), material analysis, and durability tests
• Knowledge of ISO and ASTM testing standards
• Good technical English
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
