Product Developer - Secondary Packaging

ppStevanato Group is one of the world's largest providers of integrated containment and delivery solutions for the biopharmaceutical industry. To strengthen our growth in the Drug Containment Solutions BU (DCS), we are looking for a bProduct Developer - Secondary Packaging /b in our Product Development team based in Piombino Dese (PD). The role will focus on the design and development of secondary packaging solutions, including nests, tubs and trays, for our market-leading glass products to be processed by pharmaceutical customers on fill-and-finish lines. /p pbYou will: /b /p ul liDesign and develop secondary packaging solutions for Stevanato Group’s market-leading glass products, including syringes, vials and cartridges /li liManage development activities from early-stage concept definition and design reviews through rapid prototyping and design transfer to manufacturing /li liCoordinate engineering resources from external suppliers, including mold makers, molders and consulting firms /li liCreate and update 2D and 3D files and maintain product data in PLM systems using SolidWorks and Creo /li liAnalyze samples and review test and dimensional reports received from suppliers /li liManage testing activities on packaging lines /li liPrepare English-language documentation for quotation activities, including requirements and CAD packages /li liSupport the preparation of Quality Management System documentation related to nest and tub solutions. /li /ul pbWhat we are looking for /b /p ul liMaster’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or a related field /li liAt least 5 years of experience in product development or RD within the medical device, pharmaceutical, packaging or another highly regulated industry /li liExperience with polymers, injection-molded components, and mold design and development /li liGood proficiency in English /li liKnowledge of pharmaceutical packaging and production processes /li liHands-on experience with mechanical modeling and simulation, including structural or thermal FEA and rheological simulations such as Moldflow or Moldex3D /li liKnowledge of Design for Manufacturing and Design for Assembly principles /li liNice to have: knowledge of Quality Management Systems, particularly Design Control /li liNice to have: knowledge of applicable standards and guidance, such as GMP, ISO 13485, ISO 10993, ISO 14971, and FDA or EMA guidance documents /li liNice to have: knowledge of project management methodologies, techniques, tools and applications /li liAdherence to Stevanato Group’s Values: Trust and respect everyone; Be accountable; Be ethical, always; Listen and communicate with transparency and honesty; Deliver results. /li /ul pbWhat We Offer /b /p pAt Stevanato Group, we believe that great performance is sustained over time through the right combination of tools, support, wellbeing, and continuous development.
