Within the Operations area, we are seeking a Should Cost Engineer for our office in Cascina Costa (VA).**Job description**The main responsibilities and activities associated with the role are listed below:* identify and analyze the technical, functional and performance characteristics of mechanical systems (components, mechanical transmissions, kinematic mechanisms) and hydraulic systems (servo controls and hydraulic circuits)* identify and define the cost drivers of mechanical and hydraulic components/equipment* estimate the cost of mechanical and hydraulic products by applying the most appropriate industrial cost estimation methods (parametric / analogy / bottom-up). Perform VA/VE (Value Analysis / Value Engineering) analyses on mechanical and hydraulic products**Requirements*** Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering (specialization in mechanical and hydraulic systems)* knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems (rotary-wing and/or fixed-wing aircraft)* mechanical technologies, development and testing of mechanical and hydraulic systems* Problem Solving* Initiative and motivation* VA/VE* English, advanced/intermediate level (spoken and written B2/C1 Level)* level of experience: 4/5 years in a similar roleSeniority Junior: 3–5 years of experience WHAT WE OFFER Engagement, recognition of skills, and a strong focus on people's well-being and safety are the cornerstones of our corporate culture.
