Senior Construction Engineer

ppFor one of our clients operating in the Oil Gas EPC sector, we are looking to hire a bConstruction Engineer /b to be based in their head offices in Milan. /p pThe selected candidate will be responsible for supporting construction activities from the bproposal phase through to site mobilization /b, ensuring proper coordination and definition of construction strategies in line with project requirements, contractual obligations, and company standards. /p pThe role is fully integrated within the Construction Commissioning Department and requires close interaction with Project Management, Proposal, Procurement, and Project Control teams. /p h3Key Responsibilities: /h3 ul liActively support the Proposal Department during the bidding phase, contributing to construction planning, manpower estimation, cost analysis, and technical evaluation of subcontractors. /li liPerform technical alignment of subcontractor proposals during both bidding and execution phases /li liContribute to the definition and consolidation of construction strategy in line with scope, budget and contractual requirements /li liReview contractual documentation to ensure a fit-for-purpose construction execution approach /li liProvide inputs for project scheduling, ensuring alignment with contractual milestones /li liSupport the definition of construction manhours by discipline and work class /li liCoordinate home office construction activities for one or more projects until site mobilization /li liPromote and verify implementation of the constructability plan /li liPrepare and review key construction documentation, including procedures, specifications, Work Requisitions (WR), Site Mobilization Plans, and Vendor Assistance Plans. /li /ul h3Requirements: /h3 ul liMinimum 8-10 years of experience in Construction roles within EPC projects, preferably in the Oil Gas or Energy sector /li liProven experience in home office construction activities, supporting projects from bidding phase through to site mobilization /li liSolid involvement in proposal / tendering phase, including construction planning, manpower estimation, cost analysis and technical bid evaluation /li liStrong understanding of constructability processes and construction execution strategies iExperience in construction manhours estimation and coordination with Project Control /i /li liHands-on experience in technical evaluation and management of subcontractors /li liAbility to review contractual documentation and translate it into practical construction execution approaches /li liPrevious site experience is considered a strong plus /li /ul pYou will be based in Milan, Italy (with availability for occasional travel if required). /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
