Overview
As Platform Engineer at BIP Red in Milan, you help design and scale secure, developer-friendly cloud platforms. You'll build and evolve modern cloud-native infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, partnering with software engineers to improve delivery and reliability. You will leverage AI-assisted tooling to accelerate provisioning and development, while mentoring juniors and shaping our engineering standards. This role blends hands-on platform work with cross-team collaboration to drive measurable growth.

Responsabilità
- Design, build and evolve cloud-native platforms for enterprise apps
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows
- Improve Developer Experience through internal tooling and self-service capabilities
- Collaborate with software engineers across the delivery lifecycle
- Support scalable, resilient, observable applications and incident resolution
- Leverage AI-powered tools to boost infrastructure and development productivity
- Mentor junior engineers and share engineering best practices
- Contribute to evolving technology stack and engineering standards
Requisiti fondamentali
- DevOps mindset with a focus on automation and software delivery
- 3+ years as a DevOps Engineer or similar role with software development background
- CI/CD experience with GitLab CI, ArgoCD, Jenkins or equivalents
- Hands-on experience with at least one major Cloud Provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar tools
- Docker and Kubernetes experience including production deployments
- Backend development skills in Node.js (JavaScript/TypeScript) or Java (Spring Boot)
- Familiarity with AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Gemini or similar)
- Linux proficiency
- Proficient written and spoken English
