Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Laboratory Team Leader to oversee formulation and analytical activities in a GMP-compliant pharmaceutical environment. The role combines technical analytical expertise with team leadership, managing testing operations, method validation, and client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee formulation and analytical laboratory activities and testing schedules
  • Guide and manage team of analysts while conducting sophisticated analytical work
  • Ensure GMP compliance and highest quality standards in testing materials and products
  • Develop, validate, and transfer analytical methods for product development and stability testing
  • Maintain relationships with internal teams and external clients; prepare technical documentation

Requirements

  • Advanced degree with no prior experience, OR bachelor's degree plus 2 years pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience
  • Expertise in analytical instrumentation: HPLC, GC, FT-IR, UV-Spectrophotometer
  • Proficiency in method development, validation, and transfer
  • Strong knowledge of GMP regulations and pharmaceutical quality systems
  • Experience with laboratory information management systems and Empower software
  • Leadership and team management experience
  • Fluent English communication and MS Office proficiency
