Partnering closely with Sales Specialists, Account Managers, and key customer stakeholders, this role drives the successful adoption of Leica Biosystems' Digital and Computational Pathology solutions through IT solution architecture, consultative application expertise, and solution selling. /ppAct as a trusted advisor to pathology, laboratory, clinical, and IT stakeholders, you will design, present, and lead discussions relating to the customers IT ecosystem, provide solutions that address customer clinical, operational, and enterprise IT requirements. These solutions span digital pathology scanners, image management systems, Artificial Intelligence-enabled diagnostic applications. /ppCombining technical and commercial expertise, the role develops and communicates compelling value propositions that demonstrate how Leica Biosystems' evolving digital pathology ecosystem supports diagnostic excellence, operational efficiency, digital transformation, and improved patient outcomes. The role provides both pre‑ and post‑sales subject matter expertise by deploying standard work tools to identify and advance opportunities, presenting and demonstrating hardware, software, workflow solutions, and clinical applications early in the sales process. Through effective customer engagement at critical stages of the sales cycle, the role builds stakeholder confidence and follow‑through, articulates the value proposition, and supports customer acceptance and successful adoption of Leica Biosystems solutions. /ppThis position reports to the Regional Sales Manager and is part of the Digital Pathology team located in Italy and will be fully remote. /ph3In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To /h3ulliPartner with Sales Specialists to achieve growth objectives and advance customer opportunities. /liliLead customer discovery sessions, workflow assessments and solution design workshops. Demonstrate innovative Digital Pathology, image analysis and AI-enabled diagnostic solutions to healthcare organisations. /liliInfluence key stakeholders across pathology, laboratory operations, informatics and healthcare IT functions. /liliSupport customers in their transition to digital and computational pathology workflows, contributing directly to the adoption of technologies that help improve cancer diagnostics and patient care. /li /ulh3The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include /h3ulliBachelor's degree in a scientific, engineering, informatics, imaging, or healthcare-related discipline. /liliExperience in healthcare IT environments and systems integration. Supporting and understanding digital pathology, medical imaging, diagnostics, healthcare IT, or laboratory technology solutions, including interoperability with LIS using standards such as DICOM and HL7. Salesforce or equivalent CRM platform. /liliExperience in solution selling, technical consulting, applications support, or solution architecture. /li /ulh3Travel, Motor Vehicle Record Physical/Environment Requirements /h3ulliWillingness and ability to travel up to 80%, including overnight travel, primarily within the assigned territory and occasionally outside the territory to attend meetings, trainings, or congresses. /liliMust have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record /li /ulh3It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: /h3ulliIntegration or support of digital pathology scanners and image management systems (IMS) in clinical or research laboratories or a field-based role within digital pathology, medical imaging, or in vitro diagnostics environments. /liliDelivering technical presentations, customer training sessions, or product demonstrations to medium‑to‑large audiences (e.g. conferences, workshops, or user meetings) /liliMedical image analysis algorithms, computational pathology or Artificial Intelligence solutions applied to clinical diagnostics. /li /ulpLeica Biosystems, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives. The expected gross annual salary range for this role is 54.000€ - 63.000€, determined based on objective criteria such as experience, skills, and role-related competencies. /ppBonus / Incentive Pay /pp20% of annual base salary /ppThis job is also eligible for bonus / incentive pay.
