In this position, you will be accountable for defining, governing, and evolving the enterprise‑wide data architecture across a complex, SAP‑centric application landscape. The role ensures that master, transactional, and analytical data are consistently defined, governed, integrated, and consumed across core platforms including SAP (ERP, BW, GTS, Concur), Salesforce CRM, MES systems, Quoting and Pricing platforms, Finance, Treasury, Trade Compliance, and Analytics. The role operates as the enterprise design authority for data, leads the data governance and MDM operating model, and manages a small team of data engineers to translate architectural decisions into sustainable execution. /ppJob Location: Vishay Semiconductor Italiana spa is site focused on the design, development and production of power diodes and power modules. There are around 300 employees currently work in Borgaro Torinese Italy. This number is constantly growing due to our expansion plans. /ph3What You Will Be Doing /h3h3Define, maintain, and evolve the Enterprise Data Architecture blueprint, including: /h3ulliCore enterprise data domains (Customer, Product/Material, Vendor, Pricing, Finance, Trade Compliance) /liliConceptual and logical enterprise data models /liliCanonical data definitions and semantics /liliAct as Design Authority for all data‑related initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles. /liliDefine and enforce enterprise data standards (modeling, naming, semantics, integration). /liliCollaborate closely with Enterprise, Solution, and Integration Architects. /li /ulh3Master Data MDM Strategy Ownership /h3ulliOwn the enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) strategy and execution roadmap. /liliDefine domain prioritization (e.g. Customer, Product/Material) and rollout phases. /liliEstablish golden record, survivorship, hierarchy, and relationship‑management rules. /liliLead the design and implementation governance of the selected MDM platform. /liliOversee data migration, cleansing, and harmonization activities linked to MDM adoption. /li /ulh3Data Governance Data Quality /h3ulliEstablish and run the Enterprise Data Governance operating model, including data ownership and stewardship framework. /liliGovernance forums, decision bodies, and escalation mechanisms. /liliDefine and monitor enterprise data quality rules and KPIs (completeness, accuracy, uniqueness, timeliness). /liliImplement structured data issue management and remediation processes. /liliEnsure data lineage, traceability, and auditability for critical business and regulatory data. /li /ulh3Cross‑Platform Data Consistency System‑of‑Record Definition /h3h3Define and maintain System‑of‑Record (SoR) / System‑of‑Engagement (SoE) principles across: /h3ulliSAP (ERP, BW, GTS, Concur) /liliSalesforce CRM /liliMES systems (e.g. Promis, Critical Manufacturing) /liliQuoting and pricing platforms /liliFinance, Treasury, AP automation, and EDI solutions /li /ulpResolve data ownership conflicts and duplication at enterprise level. Ensure consistent and governed data synchronization patterns across systems. /ph3Integration Data Semantics Governance /h3ulliDefine enterprise canonical data models and data contracts for cross‑system integrations. /liliGovern data flows implemented via SAP BTP, MuleSoft, and EDI platforms. /liliDefine integration patterns (API, event‑driven, batch, EDI) from a data semantics, integrity, and lifecycle standpoint. /liliEnsure interface versioning discipline and backward compatibility. /li /ulh3Analytics Reporting Alignment /h3ulliEnsure conformed dimensions and consistent master data usage across analytics and planning platforms (e.g. SAP BW). /liliAlign enterprise data definitions with KPIs, reporting, and planning use cases. /liliPrevent multiple and conflicting versions of enterprise truth. /li /ulh3Execution Oversight /h3ulliTranslate architectural and governance decisions into executable implementation backlogs. /liliReview technical designs and ensure adherence to enterprise standards. /liliCoordinate delivery with internal teams and external partners. /li /ulh3What You Will Bring Along /h3pBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in Enterprise Data Architecture, Data Governance, or related roles. /pulliDemonstrated experience in SAP‑centric enterprise landscapes integrated with multiple non‑SAP platforms. /liliProven experience designing and governing Master Data Management solutions. /liliStrong background in enterprise integration concepts and data exchange patterns. /liliExperience operating in complex, global, and regulated environments. /liliEnterprise data modeling (conceptual, logical, canonical). /liliData governance frameworks and stewardship models. /liliMaster data and reference data management. /liliData quality frameworks, metrics, and lifecycle management. /liliIntegration data semantics (API‑led, event‑driven, batch, EDI). /liliSolid understanding of SAP data concepts (Business Partner, Material, Finance, Pricing, BOMs, Routings). /liliStrong stakeholder management, facilitation, and decision‑making skills. /liliClear and structured documentation and communication. /liliManufacturing and MES data architecture. /liliQuote‑to‑Cash and pricing data domains. /liliTrade compliance and regulatory master data (e.g. export control, classification). /liliAnalytics and planning data architecture. /liliExperience leading small technical or architecture teams. /liliDelivery focused with previous experience on at least one major data lake transition. /liliEnterprise data ownership and governance model formally established and adopted. /liliMeasurable improvement in master data quality and reduction in duplicates. /liliSuccessful MDM/MDG rollout for prioritized domains. /liliStable, reusable, and well‑governed data integration patterns. /liliImproved auditability, compliance, and reporting consistency. /li /ulh3What Can We Offer You For Your Talent /h3pVishay offers a comprehensive suite of benefit programs including health care coverage, financial support programs and other resources designed to help you achieve your personal and professional goals.
