Field technical specialist - SCADA

MissionEnsure the successful technical execution of projects and the professional implementation of solutions. The Field technical specialist acts as the primary technical point of contact on-site, coordinating all field activities and ensuring that project objectives, customer requirements, technical standards, and safety regulations are achieved. This role requires a strong field presence, frequent travel, and close collaboration with customers, project teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.What will you do?Support the tendering and proposal preparation process, including technical assessments and site surveys.Develop and review technical solutions, specifications, and project documentation to ensure compliance with customer requirements and applicable standards.Supervise and coordinate installation, commissioning, testing, and start-up activities at customer sites.Manage on-site activities by working closely with customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams.Provide hands-on technical support during commissioning and troubleshooting activities, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.Monitor project execution in the field, ensuring adherence to schedule, quality, safety, and performance targets.Act as the primary technical interface with customers during site execution, translating customer needs into practical actions and solutions.Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure alignment between on-site activities and overall project objectives.Report project progress, identify risks and mitigation actions, and support effective project communication.Monitor site-related costs and support budget control activities throughout project execution.Travel frequently across national locations to support project implementation and customer operations.What qualifications will make you successful?Technical High School Diploma (Electrical, Electronics, Automation, or equivalent) combined with relevant professional experienceBachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related technical field.Proven experience in electrical systems, power distribution, industrial installations, or related engineering environments.Experience managing on-site activities, commissioning, start-up, or field engineering projects.Strong technical understanding of electrical systems, engineering documentation, and industry standards.Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders in a dynamic site environment.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Strong communication and customer-facing abilities.Basic knowledge of Project Management principles and methodologies.Fluent in English; additional languages are considered a plus.Availability and willingness to travel frequently.Proactive attitude, flexibility, autonomy, and results-oriented mindset.What's in it for me?Permanent Contract and company car; Flexibility at work; Exciting job in an international company, with opportunities o lead and contribute to different projects collaborating with cross-region teams;Special tailored to your needs and career goals;Opportunity to develop based on clear career paths, to grow through experience and exposure;An environment where employees have equal opportunities to reach their fullest potential, depending on performance and personal aspirations;Global Family Leave program;Ticket restaurant or meal at canteen;Shareholding plans;Welfare programs that can be extended to your family;Health insurance and Professional/extraprofessional accident insurance.Let us learn about you!
