Software Engineer C#/SQL

TXT GROUP

TXT e-Tech , a company within the TXT Group, is seeking Software Engineers with at least 3 years’ experience to join the Aerospace & Aviation division , working on projects for a major client in the sector.

Main responsibilities:

  • Analysing software requirements;
  • Developing software modules in C# (using the .NET 6⁄7 framework and above);
  • Migrating the database from Oracle to SQL Server;
  • Unit testing;
  • Contributing to the integration of the implemented modules.

Required technical skills:

  • Previous experience in C# programming;
  • Knowledge of the .NET 6⁄7 framework (or higher);
  • Knowledge of MVVM (Model-View-ViewModel) architecture;
  • Ability to understand legacy C++ code and rewrite it in C#;
  • SQL Server database skills (writing complex queries, stored procedures, triggers and views, as well as installation, configuration and optimisation);
  • Oracle database skills (ability to extract data, read PL/SQL packages and stored procedure logic);
  • Experience in UML modelling;
  • Experience in configuration management and version control (SVN, Git);
  • Knowledge of Linux operating systems (in particular Bash scripting).

Education : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.

  • The contract offered for this position is a permanent one, and the salary range for this position is between EUR 32.000 € and EUR 37.000 € gross per year.
  • The grading/level will be defined during the selection process based on the candidate’s profile and in accordance with the National Collective Labor Agreement (Metalworking Industry).
