Overview
In this role you secure automation systems on‑site at customer locations within factory automation. You will assess and implement industrial cybersecurity measures, ensuring system integrity and compliance with standards. You will collaborate with customers, OEMs, and internal teams to harden networks, segment systems, and manage vulnerabilities. The position offers hands‑on field work, opportunities to shape secure industrial solutions, and cross‑functional collaboration in a hybrid Italy‑based team.Retribuzione / Benefits
- Perform on‑site cybersecurity service activities at OEMs and end customers
- Assess plants, machines, and networks to identify cybersecurity risks and vulnerabilities
- Implement cybersecurity measures including system hardening, network segmentation, firewall and access control configurations, patch and vulnerability management
- Support cybersecurity assessments and prepare technical documentation
- Identify assets and analyze automation components (PLCs, HMIs, drives, networks)
- Implement and support secure remote access solutions
- Assist during commissioning and retrofit projects with secure integration
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams to embed security by design
- Contribute to incident response and troubleshooting of cybersecurity issues
- Provide support to internal teams on cybersecurity topics
- Prepare technical reports, risk assessments, and customer documentation in line with Siemens standards
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience or strong motivation in Industrial cybersecurity and Automation systems
- Knowledge of industrial cybersecurity concepts and network fundamentals
- Basic understanding of IEC62443 (as a plus)
- Experience with asset discovery, vulnerability scanning, or monitoring tools (as a plus)
- Teamwork and customer‑oriented communication skills
- Proactive and solution‑oriented mindset
- Willingness to travel for on‑site activities (national and potentially international)
- Italian and English proficiency
