To help fuel that growth, we need a Frontend Software Engineer to join our Design System team. /ppThe Pyxis Team at Prima Assicurazioni develops and maintains the company’s Design System, a library of reusable and accessible components that ensure consistency across all digital products. We support other teams in adopting the system and creating shared components. The design is created in Figma, with foundations built in SASS through internal Design Tokens. Components are developed in React and Elm, while email templates are managed with Parcel.io. Documentation is provided via ZeroHeight for design and through Storybook and Elmbook for code. /ph3What you’ll do /h3ulliDevelop and maintain Design System components using best practices in frontend development. /liliCollaborate with Product Designers and Product Managers to ensure consistency and quality of user interfaces. /liliResolve accessibility issues and ensure all components meet WCAG standards. /liliDocument our foundations and components and maintain the developer experience on high level. /liliConduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, enforce coding standards to maintain code quality and ensure consistent practices across the team. /liliTroubleshoot and debug complex issues, ensuring timely resolution and optimal performance. /liliContribute to the stabilization of visual tests and automation of development processes. /li /ulh3What we’re looking for /h3ulliExcellent knowledge of HTML /liliExcellent knowledge of CSS, preferably SASS2 /liliExcellent knowledge of accessibility (WCAG) rules applied to frontend /liliGood knowledge of Design Systems / component library /liliGood knowledge of JavaScript, Typescript and React /liliGood knowledge of UX and design topics applied to frontend /liliGood knowledge of testing strategy and frontend tests /liliGood knowledge of English (written and spoken) /liliExperience in maintaining and writing documentation /liliFlexibility in learning new technologies (like: Elm / Web Components) /li /ulh3Nice-to-Have /h3ulliProfessional experience with Elm /liliProfessional experience with WebComponents /liliProfessional experience with Design Tokens /li /ulh3Why you’ll love it here /h3pWe want to make Prima a happy and empowering place to work.
