Overview

As a Field Service Engineer, you will execute service tasks across installation, maintenance, repairs, and upgrades while adhering to Hitachi Energy standards and safety guidelines. You will work hands-on with HV equipment, analyze technical issues on-site or remotely, and ensure customer satisfaction through reliable service delivery. You will coordinate materials and report outcomes, driving improvements to prevent repeated faults. This role offers front-line impact in a mission-driven energy tech environment with substantial field travel.

Responsabilità

• Perform service tasks across multiple categories including installation, commissioning, maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and retrofits
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Coordinate availability and quality of materials, parts, and tools for service activities
• Prepare documentation and reports for customer sign-off
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships and understand their needs
• Apply safety and environmental practices and report unsafe conditions
• Travel within Italy to service sites (>80%)
• Contribute to customer satisfaction by aligning work with customer orders and expectations

Requisiti fondamentali

• Electrotechnical diploma
• On-site experience with HV equipment
• Fluency in Italian and English
• Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines
• Willingness to travel in Italy (>80%)
