Coesia has operating units in 36 countries, a turnover of 2,084 million euros in 2023 and over 8,000 employees.About the ProjectWe are at the forefront of innovation, pioneering the next-generation material handling and transportation system within the cutting-edge semiconductor sector.Joining our strategic project, where the high technological content will optimize material flow, you will be a vital link between groundbreaking innovation and practical execution.As part of our dynamic execution team, you will bring this technology from concept to reality, collaborating with top engineers, getting advanced training at our R&D hub in Sweden, and leading its application at our customer’s facility in Sicily.About the RoleAs Onsite Project Manager, you will support the execution of the project through daily onsite coordination, progress monitoring, and structured reporting to the PMO. Acting as the operational interface between onsite teams and central functions, you will ensure accurate information flow, timely escalation of issues, and continuous alignment between planning and execution.The position will be based in Bologna, but the role requires regular onsite presence (minimum 50% of working time in Catania) and close collaboration with installation teams, subcontractors, supply chain, and engineering functions.The Onsite Project Coordinator reports directly to the Project Manager / PMO Lead.Main responsibilities will include:Onsite Presence & CoordinationAttend customer meetings and all relevant onsite coordination meetings.Act as the primary onsite point of contact for installation teams and subcontractors.Monitor daily installation progress and immediately report deviations from plan.Ensure consistent onsite presence to support execution and coordination activities.Materials & Supply Chain CoordinationTrack material availability and delivery status in coordination with Supply Chain.Update delivery priorities and dates based on installation needs.Align installation planning with material readiness.Report missing materials, delivery delays, and their impact on the project schedule.Resource MonitoringMonitor availability of onsite resources, tools, and equipment.Identify needs for resource optimization, reinforcement, or shift changes.Support the planning and coordination of additional shifts when required.Project Planning & ReportingMaintain and update the project Gantt chart on a daily basis using Microsoft Project.Identify blocking points and propose mitigation or recovery actions.Provide structured daily progress updates to the PMO, including status, issues, and risks.Maintain accurate documentation of progress, decisions, and open points.Issue & Risk ManagementProactively identify risks related to installation activities, materials, or sequencing.Escalate critical issues to the PMO with clear impact and urgency assessment.Support the definition and tracking of recovery and mitigation actions.What You Need to Be SuccessfulProven experience in onsite coordination roles or project execution environments.Strong knowledge of project planning and scheduling tools (Microsoft Project required).Ability to read and understand technical and engineering documentation.Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills.Problem‑solving mindset and ability to work effectively under pressure.Fluency in English, both written and spoken.Availability to work onsite for at least 50% of working time.Our offer Compensation for this role includes a base salary starting from EUR 44.400, in line with experience. The actual offer may exceed this minimum based on the candidate's qualifications and fit for the role.The compensation package also includes a variable component in the form of an annual bonus, which can reach 10% of base salary at targetA range of additional benefits (e.g., insurances, etc.) is also available in accordance with Company policy.The applicable collective agreement is the CCNL Metalmeccanico.Coesia is an equal opportunity employer.
