Scope

Project Manager in ROCKWOOL Core Solutions (RW‑CS) with European scope, reporting to the Public Affairs & Innovation Manager.

Stakeholders

• Internal: Operating company Marketing & Development team, RW‑CS departments of Supply Chain, sales teams, Group Development, local OPCO resources.
• External: Laboratories, notified bodies, suppliers, professional associations, customers.

Responsibilities

• Translate approved ideas and projects into business cases (sales forecast, improvements, cost reductions) and develop new solutions (products and systems).
• Create project plans, milestones, and define “Go/No‑Go” gates for new development and product optimisation.
• Collaborate with the Public Affairs Manager to add technical propositions that strengthen strategic pillars.
• Develop connections with laboratories, suppliers and factories to test processes and products.
• Produce and provide technical documentation for the portfolio to reduce the “Route to Market.”
• Identify actionable levers that can increase technical performance.
• Support the Product Manager to adjust the portfolio according to new systems and technical improvements.
• Benchmark existing solutions/systems based on market and literature.
• Translate solution performance expectations into stonewool specifications to fit the system.
• Interface with machine/industrial process suppliers for the integration of stonewool into the final system.
• Track deliverables and timelines of the projects managed in agreement with the Public Affairs & Innovation Manager.

Qualifications

• Industry passion and strong understanding of building physics.
• 5+ years of experience in project management within construction or industry.
• Process‑oriented documentation skills.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Proactive leadership with the ability to engage and build internal and external networks.
• Good digital working knowledge (Microsoft Office, social networks).
• Planning and organising, learning ability, oral communication, tenacity, initiative, result orientation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of sustainability and environmental issues and European energy regulation & transition regulations.
• Knowledge of foreign languages (German, Italian, Spanish, Polish, French, …). International experience.
• Basic understanding of business financials and strategic thinking, entrepreneurship, and negotiation.

Benefits

• Full‑time permanent employment contract.
• Salary range: €45,000 – €50,000 yearly gross.
