Centrifugal Compressor Field Service Engineer (M/F/D)

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction for site activities to internal teams and skilled labour to ensure safety, compliance, and quality.
• Oversee overhaul, troubleshoot, and commission Centrifugal Compressor products at customer sites.
• Lead customer and contractor meetings to share and update action plans and advise on technical solutions.
• Ensure internal training, compliance and quality documentation is updated, followed, and completed according to company standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate a good working knowledge of the installation and maintenance of rotating equipment.
• Have experience working in a mechanical role in an energy or oil and gas environment (or similar).
• Display an impressive customer‑service orientation mindset and experience leading customers through tough decisions.
• Be skilled at communicating complex technical information to customers and teams with varying levels of technical understanding.
• Have a deep awareness of Health, Safety and Environmental compliance and potential risks.
• Be a motivated self‑starter, able to make key decisions and innovate solutions.
• Have excellent command and understanding of verbal and written English.
• EU passport/European Work permit and excellent verbal and written English and Italian language.
• Be ready to travel significantly (up to 70%) without geographical restriction, including offshore facilities.

Pay

The initial pay range for this position will be EUR 41,600 to 57,200. The provisions of Contratto Collettivo Industria Metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti will be applied to this position. Section VI – Titolo IV of that collective bargaining agreement relates to pay. Internal title: Field Specialist III - SVS - CC.
