Are you ready to join a truly international community of great people on a challenging journey with a tangible impact and purpose? /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliManage the preventative and corrective maintenance production teams also auxiliary workshops and wheel lathes teams where relevant /liliMonitor and control Production output on a shift-by-shift basis. /liliHelp the depot manager in managing organisational change in order to optimise working practices and thus ensure a productive workforce. /liliEnsure all Production activities meet the Safety and Quality requirements of internal standards customer specifications /liliHelp the depot manager in Identifing training certification/habilitation and other resource needs to facilitate production in the most effective way. /liliReview work plans to ensure daily production targets are met as effectively and efficiently as possible. Participate to analysis where there was a failure. /liliHelp the depot manager in identifying areas for improvement by personal check, analysis of vehicle incident reports and complaints, initiating action to ensure improvements. /liliPlan and coordinates operation and movements of the trains in the depot /liliHelp the depot manager continuous improvement of processes. /liliUpdate and close Service Order in Rail Sys /li /ulh3EHS /h3ulliResponsible for leading team members to uphold site safety, including reporting of any unsafe acts, process/procedure deviation /li /ulh3Performance /h3ulliProvide real time updates to the Production Manager on work progress against the agreed plan, SQDC deviations and adverse events. /liliEnsure that all worksheets are correctly provided to the required standard /liliCompletion of the shift paperwork 100% (exam, daily, safety sheets) /liliEnsure that the team follow the standard processes and conform to those standards on the job. /liliEnsure all documentation and procedures are at the correct revision and signed off in full when completed. /li /ulh3Team Communication /h3ulliConduct regular informal discussions with team members. /liliProvide regular feedback on team / individual performance. /liliBe proactive in seeking views and input from team members. /li /ulh3Team Continuous Improvement /h3ulliTake a proactive approach to support Production Managers in understanding and resolving team issues. /liliDemonstrate an awareness of continuous improvement, team development and best practice. /liliCarry out audit of processes to ensure feedback from team members to continually improve the process or procedures. /liliSupport the Production Manager in proactively working towards a reduction in Non-Value Added activities. /liliSupport the team to identify process changes and implement smarter ways of working, engage with APSYS and Industrial Teams /liliEnsure 5S is fully implemented /li /ulh3Team Development /h3ulliEnsure all team members have skills including Special Process training needed to perform and deliver against the work plan. /liliConduct regular review of skills matrix for team members. /liliIdentify individual training needs and report to Production Manager /li /ulh3Educational Requirements /h3ulliHigh school diploma (Mandatory) /li /ulh3Desired Knowledge / Experience /h3ulliIn-depth understanding of the rail depot and rail industry operations. /liliProven experience in fleet and/or maintenance and/or renovation within an operations role /liliAbility to work and lead a team. /liliKnowledge of Network rail Rules and Regulations, HS AWA, COSHH and local safety procedures /liliLanguages : Country language /li /ulh3Behavioural Competencies /h3ulliTeam Player.
