Bridgestone and its subsidiaries develop, manufacture and market a wide range of Bridgestone, Firestone and associate brand products and solutions to address the needs of a broad range of customers and industries. /p h3ABOUT THE ROLE /h3 pbAbout the Role /b /p pbJob Purpose /b /p pThe Process Leader supports the optimization of end-to-end value streams through Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. The role focuses on reducing waste and lead times, improving flow and efficiency, and creating value from raw materials to final delivery. /p pThe position works cross-functionally with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Logistics, Maintenance, and Management teams to identify and implement improvement opportunities. /p pbResponsibilities: /b /p ul liDevelop and maintain Value Stream Maps (VSM) to identify waste, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities. /li liSupport and facilitate Lean and Kaizen initiatives, applying 5S, SMED, TPM, JIT, and Standard Work. /li liAnalyze and improve production flow, line balancing, cycle/takt times, WIP, and operator allocation. /li liSupport cross-functional continuous improvement projects, monitoring timing, resources, costs, and expected benefits. /li liMonitor key KPIs, including OEE, Lead Time, Takt Time, Cycle Time, Productivity, and WIP. /li liDefine and standardize SOPs and Standard Work to sustain improvements. /li liAnalyze operational data and identify root causes using 5 Why, Ishikawa, and Pareto analysis. /li liSupport process, layout, ergonomics, and workstation optimization activities. /li /ul pbEducation /b /p pMaster’s degree in Engineering, preferably Management, Mechanical, Materials Engineering, or related fields. /p pbExperience /b /p p2–3 years of experience in manufacturing environments, preferably in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Process Engineering, Production Engineering, or Value Stream Management. /p pExperience in cross-functional improvement projects and structured manufacturing organizations is preferred. /p pbSkills /b /p ul liGood knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPS, and VSM. /li liExperience in process optimization, time studies, line balancing, and flow improvement. /li liKnowledge of OEE, Lead Time, Takt Time, Cycle Time, productivity, and WIP management. /li liGood analytical and problem-solving skills. /li liBasic project management skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. /li liProficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and CAD/layout software. /li liStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage shop-floor teams. /li liPragmatic, results-oriented, and Gemba-based mindset. /li liTeam-oriented and proactive approach. /li /ul pbLanguage /b /p pAdvanced English, written and spoken. /p h3WHAT WE OFFER /h3 pAt Bridgestone, what really matter is to foster co-creation opportunities and empowering you to be creative and curious to make mobility safer, more efficient, and more sustainable for future generations.
