The intern will join our Modelling Team and must be very fluent both in Italian and in English. /p pThe successful candidate will join a team who works on projects, in Italy and abroad, for public and private clients, such as local public transport operators, concessionaires, investment funds, financial entities and public bodies. /p pOur projects include: /p ulliTraffic due diligence and transportation planning /liliDeveloping complex transportation models and related analytical tasks using a range of technical tools (VISUM, VISSIM, Emme, CUBE) /liliCollaboration with colleagues across the business to provide high-quality consulting and differentiated services to our clients /li /ul pKey requisites are: /p ulliMaster’s degree in planning, engineering or related field, ideally with a transportation focus /liliExcellent quantitative and analytical skills with a good knowledge of spreadsheets (Excel); /liliKnowledge of Macrosimulation and/or Microsimulation Network modelling (VISUM/VISSIM); /liliUnderstanding and application of logit models; /liliGood written and spoken communication skills, including the ability to explain technical details to a non-technical audience and to write reports and presentations in a logical and well-structured way; /liliAbility to work in different teams, as well as independently. /liliMust be legally authorized to work in the European Union without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future /li /ul pAdditional skills will be positively evaluated: /p ulliKnowledge of GIS software /liliKnowledge of Statistical analysis (R, Stata) /li /ul pFor our Italy applicants, we offer a competitive package of benefits including, lunch tickets and a discretionary bonus scheme. /p pSteer is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes all candidates regardless of race, color, ancestry, gender identity or expression, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability or long-term health status, union status, Veteran status, or any other legally protected status.
