The Baker Hughes Internship is designed to enable students pursuing a Bachelors’ or Masters’ degree, or recent graduates, to gain hands‑on work experience as the foundation of their professional lives. You’ll participate in focused training, team meetings, project work, and presentations. A buddy and manager will support you throughout the internship, ensuring a valuable learning experience. Interns also become familiar with Baker Hughes’ Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) culture and our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Responsibilities Support the update and maintenance of the GTS Aero Qualification database. Contribute to the creation of standard templates and dashboards for Qualification support. Collaborate in the improvement of processes and data‑driven tools used by the team. Participate in performance monitoring activities related to repair qualification programs. Learn internal software to assist with the completion of projects and tasks. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and interns to network with global business leaders. Apply Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) standards and procedures in all situations to ensure compliance. Qualifications Undergraduate or recent graduate in Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related fields. Good knowledge of data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, My SQL, or similar). Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a data quality mindset. Motivation to learn and work with large datasets. Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with different internal stakeholders. Fluent in Italian and English (spoken and written). Legally able to work in the country you are applying in, without company sponsorship or time restriction. Soft Skills Curiosity and proactive attitude. Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to summarize complex information. Teamwork mindset and interpersonal skills. Good organizational abilities and time management.
