Founded in 2004, YEO is one of Türkiye’s leading companies providing engineering, technology, manufacturing, and renewable energy solutions for the energy sector. Covering the entire electrification value chain, we deliver end-to-end services in power generation, transmission, distribution, and efficient energy management.
With our strong production infrastructure and engineering expertise, we offer design, engineering, manufacturing, installation, operation, and maintenance services in solar and wind power plants, biogas and biomass facilities, floating solar plants, energy storage systems (BESS), and digital energy technologies. We also create added value with our expertise in high-voltage substations, power grids, hydrogen solutions, as well as transportation and infrastructure projects.
Through our REAPG factory in Tuzla, we are expanding our capabilities in energy storage production and strengthening our vertical integration from EPC to BESS manufacturing.
To date, we have successfully completed over 400 projects in more than 40 countries. Among our 700+ employees, more than 200 are engineers and nearly 100 are women. With our headquarters, field operations, and robust manufacturing facilities, we contribute to sustainability goals both in Türkiye and in international markets.
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive our growth strategy in the Italian energy market , focusing on EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) , while actively contributing to project development and execution processes.
This role requires an end-to-end ownership mindset , combining business development with hands-on involvement in project structuring and implementation.
Qualifications
- Based in Italy and eligible to work in Italy
- 5–8+ years of experience in the energy sector (preferably EPC, renewable energy, and/or BESS)
- Strong understanding of the Italian energy ecosystem, market structure, regulations, and permitting processes
- Proven experience in business development, tendering, contracts, and preferably project management
- Ability to manage technical and commercial aspects in parallel
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken)
- Result-oriented, entrepreneurial, and comfortable taking ownership
Job Descriptions
- Identify and develop new EPC and BESS business opportunities in Italy
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local investors, developers, utilities, and industrial clients
- Develop and manage a strong project pipeline, with a focus on PV + BESS hybrid projects
- Monitor tenders, define bidding strategies, and lead proposal processes to award
- Coordinate bid preparation with technical and commercial teams, engaging required service providers
- Establish strong relationships with project developers, equipment suppliers, engineering firms, subcontractors, and other ecosystem stakeholders
- Contribute to feasibility studies, cost analysis, and project structuring for EPC and BESS projects
- Lead processes with solid knowledge of local regulations, permitting, and grid connection mechanisms
- Support development and execution phases of awarded projects
- Ensure coordination with local stakeholders (authorities, suppliers, subcontractors)
- Contribute to projects being delivered on time and within budget
- Support site and execution teams when required
- Develop short-, mid-, and long-term growth strategies for the Italian market
- Contribute to the company’s overall European growth strategy
- Track and adapt new energy storage business models (merchant, capacity market, ancillary services, etc.)
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to increase the company’s visibility in Italy
