Join us and help run what runs the world. /p h3This position reports to: /h3 pEngineering Manager 2 /p h3Your Role And Responsibilities /h3 pWe are looking for Project and Commissioning Engineer, who will participate to Project and commissioning activities in all types of projects sizes and complexities, efficiently, cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. /p pThe work model for the role is: In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact, as you will be accountable for: /p ul liEvaluating, selecting and applying standard techniques and procedures to perform engineering assignments. Providing technical support for testing, installation and commissioning activities. Preparing project documentation within one’s scope of deliverables. /li liSupporting Contract Managers in issuing claims (new/change in scope of work, cost impact, time impact, risk quantifications, etc.). Providing quality solutions as per customer requirements and delivering within budget and contract. Ensuring adherence to safety standards and mitigation of potential risks. /li liSupporting in conducting risk and opportunity assessments during commissioning phase and in handling technical risks by following mitigation guidelines. Identifying potential Hazards and reports to Site management. /li liAssisting customers on technical issues, interacts with official contacts, contractors and other staff within his/her scope of deliverables. Assisting communication pertaining to specific assignments or meetings interact with customer on request. /li liCollaborating with the Supply Chain function to ensure that technical requirements for equipment or services are communicated and agreed on with potential suppliers. /li liUsing standard processes and procedures to ensure all commissioning activities comply with the required safety regulations and satisfy contractual requirements. Reporting processes and tools inefficiencies and suggests improvements ideas. /li liImproving effectiveness of work plan in collaboration with other functions. /li /ul h3Qualifications For The Role /h3 ul liDegree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Chemical, Energy, Computer Science) with basic experience in automation software configuration or High school technical diploma (Electronics, telecommunication) with initial experience. /li liKnowledge of the information technology, experience and comfort using Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, experience and comfort using some of the most popular Office programs, such as those used to create word, excel (formulas pivot). /li liKnowledge of process automation: sensor control elements system/subsystem, experience and comfort on various approach to control engineering strategies using understanding the necessary input (e.g. PID, signal list, functional control diagram). /li liKnowledge of Human Machine: comfort in the understanding of graphic Interfaces that represent the control system such design from PID. /li liElectrical knowledge: reading, understanding and implementing (if needed) modification in control cabinet functional schemes. /li liAbility to organize and work in team. /li liAvailability to travel domestically and abroad up to 25% of time during commissioning phases. /li liTime-management and you are at ease communicating in English and Italian. /li /ul h3Compensation Package /h3 pAs part of our commitment to transparency, we want to share the compensation details for this position: /p pApplicable CBA: Metalmeccanico /p pMinimum annual salary: €36.000 /p pVariable Pay: Eligible for Company Productivity Bonus /p pThe offer will be tailored based on your role location, experience, skills and qualifications, internal market positioning and alignment with ABB internal standards. /p h3Benefits As Per Policy /h3 ul liFlexible working hours, hybrid work options, and a strong focus on work-life integration and Wellbeing support for employees and their families /li liWelfare plan with a wide range of personalized services /li liCanteen or meal vouchers provided /li /ul h3More About Us /h3 pThe Energy Industries Division serves a wide range of industrial sectors, including hydrocarbons, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, power generation and water.
