Reliability Sales Solutions Specialist

Based in Seregno, Italy , you will lead the commercial growth and strategic direction of Emerson's Field Device Management Solutions portfolio for smart valves, transmitters, and other critical instruments across Northern Italy. In this role, you will help customers improve operational performance, reliability, and efficiency through innovative asset management solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams, partners, and customers to drive sustainable business growth. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Own the budget for the Reliability business, collaborating with European and local teams, aligning business objectives, to succeed delivering what is expected.
• Ensure a customer-consultative approach that supports sustainable business development and operational excellence for Field Device Management solutions, including Field Communicator, AMS Device Manager, and AMS Optics.
• Deliver presentations, workshops, webinars, and customer events that showcase Emerson's value proposition and technical expertise.
• Drive business growth through a proactive approach by identifying, developing, and converting new opportunities within existing and new customer accounts.
• Partner with sales teams to support project pursuits, customer engagements, and successful order closure in accordance with company guidelines.
• Build and strengthen relationships with customers, channel partners, and key stakeholders through a consultative selling approach.
• Develop and expand alternative distribution channels to increase market reach and customer access.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical Studies, Business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, skills, and professional experience.
• Experience with budget management.
• Experience developing and executing consultative solution sales strategies within industrial, automation, reliability, or related technology environments.
• Ability to understand customer challenges and translate them into value-driven business solutions.
• Interest in technology, innovation, and digital solutions with the ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
• Professional proficiency in both Italian and English.
• Ability and willingness to travel within the region and internationally, up to approximately 50% of working time.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative and customer-focused environment.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Experience with Field Device Management, Reliability Solutions, Asset Performance Management, or related industrial technologies.
• Good technical understanding of smart valves, transmitters, and other critical instruments.
• Familiarity with process automation systems and instrumentation applications.
• Experience working within a matrixed, global organization.
• Knowledge of digital transformation, predictive maintenance, condition monitoring, or industrial software solutions.
• Experience supporting channel partners, distributors, or indirect sales models.
• Ability to influence diverse stakeholders and lead initiatives across multiple teams.

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The total compensation salary range for this role is 58.100 to 83.000 EUR annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.

For roles covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the applicable salary range and pay structure are set by that agreement, including how pay levels and progression are defined ().
