In this function you will develop solutions for customers and partners for industrial and special applications. In particular, Applications Engineer is responsible for redacting variety of quotations for Flowserve Pump Division Customer Portfolio. Main task will include quotation preparation, specification review, price development, terms and conditions analysis. Coordination and interaction with several internal (engineering, sales, Supply Chain) and external (sub-suppliers, Customers) stakeholder is key factor. /p pYou will report to ComOps Manager or Supervisor /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liSupport and proactively keep high level interaction with sales team, operations and other stakeholders, in order to offer best Customer experience /li liEvaluation of requests, generation of solution proposals /li liCost calculation, if necessary in cooperation with the relevant departments /li liTechnical and commercial preparation of offers /li liMonitor and manage entire offer cycle (technical alignment, price revision, CRM management) /li liRisk Assessment management to reduce technical and financial risk /li liOrder acceptance, review, and clean order hand over to Order Fulfillment team /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liBS or BA Degree in relevant field and 3-5 years relevant experience /li liStrong technician acumen and analytical thinking /li liAbility to work in a team /li liGood communication skills /li liExperience as an Applications Engineer or similar role such as, inside Sales Representative, Proposal Engineer. /li liFluent English, additional language knowledge is a plus /li liExperience in dealing with common MS Office applications /li liLimited availability to travel abroad /li /ul h3About Flowserve /h3 pFlowserve is a world-leading manufacturer and aftermarket service provider of comprehensive flow control systems.
