PosizioneSupport the engineering design activities mainly referring to DCS, PLC, SCADA systems and process instrumentation for nuclear applications. Design/sizing of all the major Data Acquisition and Process Components, including the identification of the “fit for purpose” hardware and software solution, from conceptual/basic to detailed design including the details necessary to manage the supply of these components according to the national (CEI) and international (IEC/EN) electrical codes.
Main responsibilities- Ensure the execution of design activities
- Draft the technical specs, Control System and communication network Architecture, HMI schematics development, FCD/ICD diagrams, purchase technical specifications, technical evaluation of the Supplier’s offers, technical follow‑up of the supplies
- Follow up the manufacturing/assembling, the FAT, the on‑site installation and testing activities of all C&I cabinets/panels/components
- Support the on‑site installation activities for C&I works
- Coordinate mono-disciplinary working groups
- Master Degree in Electric/Electronics Engineering or equivalent
- 5 years’ experience in control systems design
- Skilled in the Design of new Control systems and integration of control systems in existing ecosystems
- Knowledge of P&ID instrumentation selection, datasheet, I/O list and loop diagrams, DCS/PLC panels, cable list, JB termination drawings, WD schematics
- Knowledge of the C&I norms and standard (e.g., CEI/EN/IEC) including functional safety and of EU Directives (e.g., LV, EMC, Machinery, ATEX)
- Knowledge of nuclear specific codes and standard for safety application, environmental and/or seismic qualification is a plus (e.g., IEEE, RCC‑E, KTA, IEC)
- Basic knowledge of Coding for PLC (i.e., LD & FBD) and NI controllers (i.e., LV code)
- Knowledge of OT Cybersecurity
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment and relationship oriented
- Capability to take initiative, with a proactive attitude and personal drive
- Fluent in English language (spoken and written, fluent)
- Willingness to travel
