AI at Qonto: AI is deeply embedded in how we work - Every Qontoer gets unlimited access to the best AI tools. We want people who experiment without waiting for permission, push AI beyond the obvious, know when to trust it, and when to question it.

Location: You can apply to work at Qonto as long as you're living in (or willing to relocate to) Germany, France, Italy, Serbia, Portugal, or Spain.

Join us as a Senior Product Engineer (iOS/Swift) to build the mobile app that 750,000 customers across Europe use to run their business finances every day, and to keep it fast and reliable as it grows.

Impact: Your work ships to the customers who use Qonto's iOS app for their daily payments and cash management. You will join one of our squads, each owning a clear product scope. You'll work with a team lead, Product, Design, and Frontend and Backend engineers. Squads have 5 to 10 people.

What you'll do

• Own features end to end: Take mobile features from technical design to production, on critical architecture and UI work that customers use daily.
• Solve real-time challenges: Tackle real-time synchronization issues and lead new initiatives in your squad's scope.
• Raise quality: Keep the codebase healthy through continuous refactoring, unit tests and snapshot tests.
• Migrate to SwiftUI: Move screens to SwiftUI (MVVM, async/await) as part of the ongoing migration.
• Collaborate across disciplines: Work with back-end teams, designers and product managers so the whole team shares one vision.

What we're looking for

• iOS expertise: You have proven experience as a native mobile engineer, with strong Swift skills and a deep understanding of the iOS SDK and development lifecycle. You'll use it daily on a 100% Swift app.
• Quality-driven development: You're committed to best practices such as unit testing (XCTest, FBSnapshots), clean code and SOLID principles. This matters in a codebase with 30,000+ unit tests.
• Pragmatic problem solving: You deliver tangible value in a fast-moving context, and you pick the simplest solution that works.
• Collaboration: You communicate clearly in English and work well with technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Curiosity: You enjoy learning new technologies and use AI tools to raise the bar, not only to go faster.

At Qonto we understand that true diversity isn't just about ticking boxes on a hiring checklist. Apply regardless of the boxes you tick! Who knows? You may have the missing piece of the puzzle we've been searching for all along.

What we can offer you

• A mature, modern codebase: 100% Swift, MVP and Clean Architecture, 35+ independent modules and a centralized design system. New screens use SwiftUI, and 80+ are already migrated.
• Solid engineering practices: Upfront technical design, team code reviews, 450+ snapshot tests, and CI/CD on GitHub Actions, Bitrise, Firebase Test Lab, Sonar, Fastlane and Tuist.
• Autonomy inside a clear mission: Each project has one team lead and a clear mission, and your squad decides how it works. We use Kaizen and PDCA to improve together, following the Qonto Way.
• AI in your daily work: Every engineer gets access to Cursor or Copilot, and LLMs are part of our development workflow.
• A large mobile community: You'll be part of a 140-strong mobile engineering community within a 500-person Product Engineering department. You get mentorship, Tech Weeklies and Monthlies, and conference opportunities. Read about our mobile performance indicators here.

Your future manager

We hire for several squads and domains, so you'll meet your future team lead during the interview process. They run one clear project mission and hand you full ownership of a product scope. You'll talk to them directly before you decide.
