Business Development - Commercial Manager

Overview

In this role you will nurture and grow strategic customer relationships within the payments ecosystem. You will work with medium-sized financial institutions and market infrastructures to advance Swift's commercial objectives and industry initiatives. You will drive engagement, deliver coordinated solutions, and share market insights to shape strategy. You will operate in a global, trusted environment that emphasizes collaboration and innovation, contributing to cross-border payments transformation and standards adoption.

Responsabilità

• Manage and grow customer relationships with assigned financial institutions and market infrastructures.
• Develop and execute account plans to achieve business objectives with a customer-centric approach.
• Drive customer engagement and adoption of Swift products and initiatives across programmes.
• Serve as primary contact for assigned customers, resolving queries and fostering collaboration.
• Promote Swift's strategy and value proposition in meetings, forums, and events.
• Collaborate with product, customer success, operations, marketing, and other teams for a coordinated experience.
• Generate market intelligence and strategic insights from customer feedback and industry trends.
• Support strategic industry initiatives including cross-border payments, ISO 20022 adoption, resilience, interoperability, and data-driven services.
• Build expertise in payments and market infrastructures to support growth opportunities.
• Foster knowledge sharing and a culture of learning and innovation within the team.

Requisiti fondamentali

• University degree in Business or related field; 3+ years of relationship management experience in payments/banking/financial industry.
• Strong understanding of financial markets and payments business.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build trusted client relationships and discuss at strategic level.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; detail-oriented and organized.
• Proficiency with CRM software and relevant tools.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in the industry.
