With a workforce of over 3.300 professionals across its offices in Europe and around the world, Telespazio operates an international network of Space Centres and Teleports, offering cutting-edge solutions in Geoinformation Services, Satellite Systems and Operations, and Satellite Communications. /p pJoin us as we continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible in Space. /p pInside the Teleport and Ground Infrastructures Engineering department in Rome, we are looking for and RF System Engineer, supporting RF Systems and Antenna design, procurement, installation, integration and test in the designated Ground Station facility. /p h3Responsibilities: /h3 ulliSystem Design, to develop detailed requirements and define the system architecture, including specifications for the procurement of the required subsystems and services /liliTechnical management of the Procurement process, including factory and on-site test as applicable /liliIntegration of the subsystems in the overall system architecture, development and execution of system, end-to-end and onsite tests /liliDevelopment of all relevant documentation (design documents, test plans and procedures, reports) /liliProject Management, including budgeted cost and schedule control /li /ul h3Requirements: /h3 ulliAn experience of at least 3-5 years in Antenna/Ground Stations equipment and subsystem design is required /liliSecond Level Master’s degree in Electronic/Telecommunication Engineering /li /ul h3Technical skills: /h3 ulliSystem Engineering methodologies /liliAntennas and RF Propagation /liliRF and Microwave Systems /liliModems and Baseband processing /liliTime and Frequency Systems /li /ul pKnowledge of Satellite Missions, Satellite Control Techniques, Monitoring and Control Protocols, Antenna Measurements and ECSS Standards is appreciated. /p ulliProblem solving /liliFlexibility /liliGood knowledge of the English language is required (B2-C1 level) /li /ul pbPlace of work /b: bRome Headquarters.
