And finally, you’re open and borderless – naturally inclusive in how you work with others.Core Capabilities (Architecture & Delivery Oversight)Definition and implementation of network and security configurations on infrastructure devicesReview of logs, configurations, and security policies to proactively prevent incidents and vulnerabilitiesSupport for lifecycle management activities, including software upgrades and patching of network/security componentsVulnerability assessment and identification of mitigation and remediation actionsIntegration of network and security solutions with enterprise systems and cloud environmentsExecution and supervision of fine-tuning activities to ensure optimal infrastructure performanceAnalysis of incidents and definition of corrective and preventive actionsAssessment of infrastructure evolution strategies and technology roadmap alignmentOwnership of technical documentation, including HLD, LLD, and operational runbooksEvaluation of new features and technologies, including impact assessment on existing services and environmentsSupervision of software installation, upgrades, and validation testingDefinition and governance of operational procedures and control frameworksSupport for go-live, transition, and migration phasesAnalysis of performance metrics and growth trends, enabling capacity planning and scalability strategiesCoordination and quality assurance of activities performed by network/security specialists across projectsOversight of architecture design validation and migration activities delivered by internal teams and vendorsDefinition of Disaster Recovery strategies and validation of DR test executionSupport for security validation activities, including penetration testing and compliance verificationRequired Profile· 10+ years of experience in networking and security within complex enterprise environments· Proven experience as Network and Security Architect in large-scale production environments· Strong expertise in high availability architectures, secure network design, and operational governance· Ability to operate with high autonomy, ownership, and accountability as Technical Leader· Experience managing cross-functional teams and vendor engagements· Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical topics into business-relevant language· Hands-on mindset combined with architectural vision· Experience with security frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls· Deep understanding of security technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, vulnerability scanners, and endpoint protection· English language proficiency at technical writing, ability to clearly communicate technical ideas to subject experts and non-experts alikeTechnical Skills· Networking: Cisco, Juniper, HPE· Security: Check Point, Palo Alto, Cisco Security· DDI: Infoblox· WiFi technology· Load Balancing: F5· Cloud Networking: AWS, Azure, GCP· Automation: Ansible, Terraform· Scripting: Python, Bash· Observability & Troubleshooting: Splunk, CheckMK, Gigamon, Ixia (or equivalent tools)Certifications· Cisco CCNP / CCIE (strongly preferred)· Palo Alto / Check Point / Juniper / Fortinet / F5 certifications· Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP – networking/security focus)· Security certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CCSP or equivalent)Preferred Technical and Professional ExpertiseExperience in designing and developing large-scale systemsExperience with system level testing and performance evaluation of network solutions and familiarity with related tools.Solution mind-set: Ability to connect the dots to conceptualize a solution, value proposition and create blueprints Experience in shell scripting and network automation platforms such as Ansible, AWX, Chef, Puppet, Terraform, or others.Familiarity with network security, Dev-Ops, Dev-Sec-Ops, Dev-Net-Ops.Being YouThe “Kyn” in Kyndryl means kinship, which represents the strong bonds we have with each other, our customers and our communities.
