As a Service Engineer in PALFINGER MARINE, you deliver service, maintenance, commissioning and inspections for lifeboats and davit/winch systems worldwide. You troubleshoot, repair, and ensure compliance with HSE and quality standards, while coordinating with customers and service teams. You impact global marine operations through hands‑on problem‑solving and continuous improvement. - Deliver service, maintenance, commissioning, and inspections for lifeboats and davit/winch systems globally
- Perform testing, troubleshooting, and repairs in compliance with HSE and quality standards
- Prepare service reports, conduct safe job analyses, and track progress with internal and external stakeholders
- Communicate project status and technical feedback with customers and Service Management
- Collaborate with the Service Manager to meet operational targets and drive continuous improvement
- Technical background in mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical engineering with service experience
- Experience in marine/offshore environments is advantageous
- Offshore certifications or willingness to obtain them
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English
- Proactive, self‑driven, and willing to travel internationally for assignments
