Risk Engineer - Risk Engineering & Loss Prevention

Global Corporate & Commercial Italy is the unit of Generali Italia S.p.A. that develops insurance services for medium and large companies.The position is based in Milan, Rome or Mogliano Veneto (Treviso), within the Risk Engineering & Loss Prevention department of Underwriting - GC&C Italy.You will perform risk assessments to identify, analyze and evaluate property risks, while sharing best practices and risk improvement recommendations to enhance risk quality, increase clients' resilience and support profitable underwriting.You will contribute to the implementation of the global strategy, supporting business objectives, portfolio quality targets and sustainable underwriting performance.Main tasks:Perform on-site risk engineering surveys and desk reviews primarily for the Property Line of Business, supporting both domestic and multinational clients and effectively managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Prepare and review risk engineering reports, including assessment findings and loss prevention recommendations, while supporting clients throughout their risk management journey.The ideal candidate will have:A university degree in EngineeringAt least 5 years of experience in Risk Engineering, preferably within multinational organizations or the insurance sectorKnowledge of NFPA fire protection standards and experience in reviewing fire protection system designs will be considered an advantageAbility to work effectively in a team and international environment; fluency in English and Italian Strong analytical, communication, and planning skillsA valid Category B driving licence and willingness to travel frequentlyIf you are passionate about risk management and helping businesses become more resilient, join our Risk Engineering & Loss Prevention team and contribute to improving the resilience and protection of Italy's leading national and multinational companies.
