Every day, more than 80 000 colleagues lead the way to greener and smarter mobility worldwide, connecting cities as we reduce carbon and replace cars. /p pJob Title: Software Development Engineer /p ul liHe/She is responsible of the software development and test of embedded applications for railway equipment and electronic devices, in the field of train communication and diagnostics systems. /li liHe/she is responsible for the delivery of the software according to the QCD requirements /li /ul h3Responsibilities /h3 h3Accountable for: /h3 ul liDelivery of software according to his / her Engineering Work Package. /li liDeployment and application of Train Control Information Solutions development procedures, processes design rules on his / her project. /li liEnsuring proper management and traceability of the hardware and software configuration, including design tools /li /ul h3Responsible for: /h3 ul liDesigning and Implementing Embedded Software modules for embedded electronic equipments in compliance with software requirements, software design specification and Interface Control Document. /li liMonitoring, controlling and consolidating the software development activities, managing project timelines and reporting any delays or issues to the work package owner / supervisor. /li liIntegrating software modules within TCMS subsystems (diagnostic system, train to wayside communication system, etc) in-charge of Configuration management for Software activities. /li liProducing the software integration plan, integrate various functions and provide reports, as applicable. /li liProviding support for Supplier interface test on TCMS Test Bench /li liProviding support during train integration, upon request. /li liProviding support during train validation, upon request. /li liEnsuring the overall performance of executable code loaded on target, for the project that he / she is leading. /li liInitiating and following-up with action plans to solve issues and/or improve results in projects. /li liEstablishing and sharing Return on Experience of his/her activities with Domain Leader and proposing improvements on Software Development process and tools defined by Domain Leader. /li /ul h3Educational Requirements /h3 ul liMaster's degree or bachelor degree in the field of electronic or software engineering required. /li /ul h3Experience /h3 ul liHands-on development experience of software phases like requirement gathering, software development, hardware-software integration. /li liHigh experience in software embedded design and implementation for complex diagnostics data management systems using C/C++ language. /li liGood Working level Knowledge of linux based operating system. /li liBasic Working level Knowledge of network protocols like MVB, Ethernet, CAN, RS 232, RS 485. /li /ul pExperience with version control systems, particularly Git, including branching strategies, code reviews, and collaborative development workflows. /p pExperience in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery/Deployment (CI/CD) environments, including build automation, testing pipelines, and software release processes. /p pFamiliarity with software quality and configuration management processes in an industrial environment. /p ul liExperience with AI agents, prompt engineering, and agentic workflows /li liEnglish: proficient in both spoken and written English. /li liAbility to work efficiently in team. /li liGood communications and reporting capabilities. /li liOpen to change and to carry out new tasks. /li liStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities. /li liResult oriented. /li /ul pYou don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us.
